Settings for the EthStateCache.
Byte budgets cover estimated payload sizes, excluding map and request queue overhead. Shared payloads can remain allocated after eviction while other components still hold references.
Fields§
§max_blocks: u32Max number of blocks in cache.
Default is 1000.
max_receipts: u32Max number of blocks’ receipts in cache.
Default is 500.
max_bals: u32Max number of EVM BALs in cache.
Default is 1000.
max_blocks_bytes: usizeMaximum estimated memory retained by the block cache, in bytes.
Defaults to 2 GiB. Zero disables caching. The entry count limit also applies.
max_receipts_bytes: usizeMaximum estimated memory retained by the receipts cache, in bytes.
Defaults to 1 GiB. Zero disables caching. The entry count limit also applies.
max_bals_bytes: usizeMaximum estimated memory retained by the BAL cache, in bytes.
Defaults to 500 MiB. Zero disables caching. The entry count limit also applies.
idle_timeout: DurationDuration after which an unused block, receipts collection, or BAL is evicted.
Defaults to one hour. Successful lookups refresh the timeout. Zero disables expiration. Periodic cleanup starts at least once per minute and removes expired entries in bounded batches.
cache_computed_bals: boolCache BALs computed by RPC requests for transaction tracing. Disabled by default.
prewarm_bals: Option<usize>Prewarm BALs until native BAL support, optionally replaying this many recent blocks on
startup. Some(0) prewarms only new canonical blocks; None disables prewarming.
Implies caching of BALs computed by RPC requests.
max_concurrent_db_requests: usizeMax number of concurrent database requests.
Default is 512.
max_cached_tx_hashes: u32Maximum number of transaction hashes to cache for transaction lookups.
